I went through a phase of seeing nothing but cats running up walls and birds flying around my bedroom - all astral or ghostly in nature - but they looked real nonetheless. They didn't do anything. They just chilled out in my bedroom

That's crazy and I absolutely love it Doug! I always welcome unseen (and seen) energy! Is there a pattern when they come, or is it just pretty random?

I've seen cats for a while... or thought I've seen cats. They were chilling out in my room, too. Just sitting in the bed. I'd see them, turn around and I'd think, "I don't have a cat!" and when I'd look back, they were gone.

After our cat, Midnight, died a few years ago, I would "feel" him coming into bed. This went on for a while. The bed would actually sink a little in his "favorite spot". This has not happened for many years (he's been gone for about 5 1/2 years now). I think it is because we have so much cat action now with the two jerks that inhabit our house. LOL
When Sparkle died, I felt that same sensation only about once or twice.

I had a Siberian Huskey/German Shepherd mix when I was in Seventh Grade. One ice blue iris earned his name. He was my shadow, I would often disappear into the wood for several days back then, and he never left my side. He was a gaurdian. Once, I came home from school and he was nowhere to be found. My parents tried to convince me that he had probably found a mate and would be back, but I wasn't buying it. Three days of searching transpired and I finally gave in. I returned home, defeated.
When I opened the door, much to my surprise, I was greeted by a slobbering mass of giddy dog flesh that I thought I would never have the privilege of being grossed out by again. Already knocked to the floor, we stayed there and wrestled until I heard him unleash a terrifying yelp. Stunned, I ran my hands over him as he laid at my side. I notice, what I thought to be a stick poking out of his ribs. Yelling for my father to come take a look, I tried to pull. It wouldn't budge. Blue just whimpered. One tough Dog. Dad,went and retrieved a pair of plyers from the garage and tried again to remove it. About five inches later we realized just how bad the situation really was. My parents couldn't afford a vet, and the resistance of the arrow meant it had to be a broadhead. This was the last time my Father ever loaded his rifle.
A week later, as I was walking through our little burgh in the middle of a warm summer night. There was a big full moon. I sat down across the road from the general store and thought back to all the time Blue and I shared together. I looked at the moon and told him how much I loved and missed him. At that moment, the warm breath that eminated from a heavy pant touched my neck. I only sat and listened and felt it. I was afraid that if I tried to see him, if I turned to look, he would be gone forever. We sat there for what seemed like hours. Then he was gone. This was the only time I had an experience like that. And I hope it will remain so. Losing him nearly killed me. But finding him again under the moon that night granted me a life I might have never believed real. My faith in the beyond, and drive to understand it, hinge on that one beautiful, exquisite, perfect...moment in time.

Very moving Bulal. You created an image for me with your heart-touched story. A silhouette of you and your lovely friend, sitting on the edge of a cliff in-front of a larger than life full moon. An image of the Moon tarot card, with sensitivity, love, and overwhelming emotions.

Bulal, what a beautiful story. To receive the unconditional love of an animal is such a privilege. Blue must have loved you so much to come back and let you know he was OK.
